レンジャー（Ranger）は当ショップRanger’sの「チーフ・チューワー（＝ガジガジ部長）」です。彼は犬にとってより良い商品を探すため、日々いろいろなドッグ・グッズを試し、研究しています。Ranger’sのスタッフもまた、レンジャーがヒツジを追い囲むのと同じように、常に素晴らしいドッグ・グッズを集めています。

ボーダー・コリーの男の子、レンジャー（2008年11月22日生まれ）。写真を見ればわかるように、レンジャーは生まれつき、おでこに「黒ポッチ」があるので、すぐに他の子と見分けられます。Ranger’sのロゴは、よ～く見てみると、アポストロフィー（‘）がレンジャーのおでこの黒ポッチ◆になっているんですよ！

いつでも元気いっぱいのレンジャー。毎日のお散歩はもちろんのこと、ガムをガジガジ・かけっこ・フリスビー・スイミング・アジリティ・宝探しゲームなど、とにかく動き回るのが大好きなレンジャー。機会さえあれば牧場でヒツジを追いかけたりもします（ボーダー・コリーは牧羊犬として有名！）。

好きな食べ物はいろいろあるけど、結局オヤツ全般大好き。嫌いなことは病院での注射、留守番、そして「遊びたいのに無視される」こと。

性格は、基本ハイパー・アクティブでフレンドリーですが、それでいて時々、まったりおっとりマイペース。でも、とにかく遊び命。ロープにボールにぬいぐるみ・・・オモチャはいつでも彼の必需品です。

ハイパーなレンジャーにぐっすり健康なお昼寝してもらうためには、とにかく「たくさん遊ぶ」ことが重要なのです。とは言っても、愛犬と１日中遊んであげる時間なんて、飼い主にはなかなかありませんよね・・・だからこそオモチャが大活躍なんです！新しいオモチャで遊ぶ時はいつも大喜びで大興奮のレンジャー。たとえ短い時間でも楽しく遊んで、疲れた後は、ぐっすりお昼寝。そして、「楽しい、丈夫で壊れにくい、しかも安全素材でデザインも良い、そんなオモチャが日本にもっとたくさんあればいいのに！」そう思った飼い主が、世界中からレンジャーのお気に入りグッズを集めて、レンジャーのお店をオープンしました。

Ranger is the Chief Chewer here at Ranger’s. He road-tests the products and inspires his owners to find the best that the market has to offer for dogs. Your Ranger’s staff members corral great products for dogs just like Ranger rounds up sheep!

A male Border Collie, Ranger was born and raised in Japan (bday November 22, 2008). This bilingual dog understands words in both English and Japanese. Ranger has a spot on his forehead that makes him easy to recognize. The shape of the apostrophe in Ranger’s logo is designed after his distinctive spot!

Ranger is highly energetic and intensely focused when playing; he loves Frisbee, fetch, tug of war, agility, swimming, jumping, and running. (He also likes chasing sheep when he gets the chance.) Things Ranger doesn’t like include rabies shots and down time when he still wants to play!

Ranger’s owners discovered the best way to satisfy his huge appetite for play is to tire him out with vigorous play sessions. They also discovered varying the types of play keeps Ranger excited and engaged. Whenever Ranger is shown a preferred toy he hasn’t seen for a while, his enthusiasm spikes into turbo drive. Many of the toys sold on dog-rangers.com have been tested by Ranger to provide just this sort of satisfying fun. These concentrated yet varied play sessions are followed by long naps, providing Ranger with healthy rest and his owners with much needed breaks as their reward.
